Meet the Author
I am an author, mythologist, artist, storyteller, lecturer, and perpetual student in pursuit of ideas, truth and creative endeavors. I live quietly in the middle of Arlington—and right around the corner from the University of Texas—with my youngest son and our flying rhinoceros which is cleverly disguised as a black Labrador Retriever.
Welcome to the Scarlet Carnival.
About Me
“Tell the truth, but lead so improbable a life that the truth will not be believed.”
Name: bishop (Yes. Really.)
Gender: Male
Age: 42
Relationship Status: Partnered
Education: Three Academic Degrees (BS/BBA, AA) and One Trade Degree
Occupation: Student of Humanity
Location: Arlington, TX
I have two boys (Ian, 18, who lives with my dad & Tristan, 13, who lives with me) and two dogs (female Labrador Retriever: Zoe of the Nine Lives, Our Dark Lady of Perpetual Motion and male Husky/Wolf mix: Nix). I am undecided on a great many things when it comes to relationships and people since I am mildly anthropophobic, but I know that my youngest son, my dogs, and I make one hell of a team together. When I throw my oldest son into the mix—as the universe has seen fit to do incrementally these past two years—there is no more exquisite Dream Team in all the world. I am truly blessed with these boys.
